Some processes can’t run with just extend and retract. There are times when the cylinder must stop in between and hold position without drift. That’s where 5/3 Way Double Solenoid Valve comes into use. Cosmic Airmatics is manufacturing and supplying 5/3 Way Double Solenoid Valve in Ahmedabad for applications where mid-position control is required along with normal air switching.
5/3 Way Double Solenoid Valve works with three positions and five ports, controlled by two solenoid coils. Apart from forward and reverse movement, it provides a centre position which can be configured as closed centre, open centre, or exhaust centre based on requirement. This makes it useful in machines where the cylinder needs to stop at a specific point or hold load safely.
In many setups, users try to manage this function with a 5/2 valve, but that doesn’t give proper holding control. The cylinder either moves back or drifts due to pressure imbalance. Using a 5/3 valve helps solve this, but only when the correct centre condition is selected for the application.
Then there’s the matter of air supply and response. For proper holding, pressure should remain stable and internal sealing must be consistent. Any leakage inside the valve can affect position holding over time. Coil selection and wiring also need attention for proper operation.
We keep focus on smooth shifting, sealing quality, and reliable coil performance so the valve works steadily in repeated cycles without delay or sticking.
We are supplying 5/3 Way Double Solenoid Valve in Ahmedabad, across Gujarat, and to different industries in India where controlled stopping and positioning are part of machine operation.
If your system needs mid-position control or you are facing drifting issues, you can share your requirement with us. We will check and suggest suitable 5/3 Way Double Solenoid Valve options that match your setup and work without frequent problems.
